FreightCar America's all-steel Aggregate Car has been re-designed to increase loading capacity and unloading efficiency. Our Aggregate Car features riveted sides, and floor slope sheets that range from 45° to 60° to handle maximum loading capacity and efficient unloading of different aggregates. FreightCar's patented Cold Rolled high-strength steel Center Sill is a mainstay in either design.

FreightCar offers three outlet gate systems to meet our customers' unloading requirements: an automatic discharge gate, a manual gate and FreightCar America's patented UniFlood™ manual gate system. FreightCar incorporated its proven MegaFlo™ outlet gate system design, now used on its AutoFlood II™ and AutoFlood III™ automatic discharge coal cars, for a quicker, cleaner discharge of aggregates, smoother automatic door operation and better sealing when closed.
